The Case is Clear

In its display, Asus had a transparent case housing one of its motherboards.  While the point of the display was the A7V266-E motherboard and not its container, Asus might want to think about selling such case designs.  The clear case was very striking.

Speaking of main board vendors, MSI, which won the 2001 VHJ Award for best Intel targeted motherboard manufacturer, was also in attendance at Platform Conference.

If you have been wondering what VIA Technologies has been meaning with the phrase "Info PC," the chipset giant had one on display.

Although VIA has been pushing the term "Info PC" for years, in many ways the concept anticipated the current frenzy of development centered around small form factor, quiet PC design.
