On DS1 Spectacular Results!

The intrepid Deep Space 1 probe with its exotic ion engine has accomplished the nearly impossible. It got great, great shots of the comet Borrelly by being reprogrammed and retasked by an outstanding team of engineers. Although it had very slim chances of success the results are just plain spectacular. Never have we had such a close and detailed view of a comet nuceus nor have we had quite the mix of auxilliary data that DS1 provided. If you have been following this little probe that could you know it is a fitting final achievement.
